FabWall®, our proprietary process to transform any fabric into a wall-covering consists of applying a non-woven backing to the fabric to add the necessary support that allows the fabric to directly adhere to the wall which facilitates optimal installation management. The treatment also incorporates a moisture barrier film placed between the non-woven backing and the fabric, which prevents the adhesive from seeping through and staining the face of the fabric. The fabric is then treated (optional) with our oil and water stain protection making it resistant to moisture and stains and easier to wipe clean.
GreenShield® (water-based): Permanent and environmentally friendly finish to make the fabric resistant to moisture, oil and water stains and easy to wipe clean.
FabGard® (solvent-based): Fabric finish to make the fabric resistant to moisture, oil, and stains that are commonly used for 100% silk & velvet fabrics.
Fabric covered walls create a luxurious effect and offer unique options for patterns and textures on vertical surfaces. They also add sound absorbing and insulating qualities to a room. However, fabric cannot be applied directly to the wall without proper backing. Fabrics react to heat and humidity, which causes sagging and bubbling, and adhesives can seep through and stain the face of the fabric. Patterns and textures can also be difficult to align for a seamless appearance. By applying the proper backing to the fabric beforehand, these issues can be minimized.

This adds the necessary body, stability, and makes the fabric easier to work with when cutting and pasting onto the wall.
